Students complete their papers, projects, artwork, or other educational work following the provided guidelines.

The Not By AI badges may be added to the qualifying content.

We've all heard lines like these. Not By AI is not anti-AI. While we celebrate this technology milestone, for developing minds, we believe the ability to think independently is crucial. It preserves students’ creativity, helps them learn more effectively, and allows them to take pride in their work. From an educator’s perspective, Not By AI helps educational organizations build trust, froster fairness, and establish academic integrity.

Non-commercial educational organizations, such as schools, colleges, universities, are welcome to use the badges free of charge. Commercial educational organizations, including commercial tutoring centers, cram schools, coaching services, and other similar orginizations, are not covered by the educational program.

Every classroom is different, and every student is unique. While we strive to provide universal guidelines, please work with your fellow educators to determine the approach that best meets your students' needs.

Educators may download and provide the Not By AI badges to the students as part of the coursework materials. Alternatively, students may download them directly from the Not By AI website.

Students may continue using the badges after graduation only if it's for non-commercial use. For commercial use, a license is required. It is advisable to communicate this to your students.

Not By AI does not review student work. Educators are responsible for ensuring that students follow the usage guidelines.
