I started writing in 2015, a year when I was still able to refer to myself as Al (Allen) without people reading it as AI (Artificial Intelligence). I have always enjoyed sharing my perspectives and learning from audience feedback. My writings focus on unique UX design insights that AI cannot generate due to its limited creativity. My style is often described as thought-provoking, boundary-pushing, and sometimes, for better or worse, controversial. While I may not be as prolific as some of the top writers, almost every single post of mine has gone viral and been translated into multiple languages, as they are carefully crafted to provide useful insights and knowledge, and are easy to understand for all readers, with or without design background. I also often support the topics I write about with my own design and graphics.
Speaking of topics, I often jot down my ideas in Notes or directly in Medium's mobile app or web app. There is always a long list of topics that I want to write about but never have the time to!
